There is a release date of March 1, 2013 on this album on emusic.com which is where I shop; however, on Amazon, they say it was released in 2009!!! Woah big difference. Since I am just finding it today, I prefer the March 1, 2013 date ... she is wonderful and we love her already!

In her lyrics, Diarra remains faithful to the tradition of the griots and advises her African brothers and sisters in their everyday life, giving them hope in the future while honoring her ancestors.
